As you may already know, the 2021 Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees elections are from 4 August 2021 to 17 August 2021. Members of the Wikimedia community have the opportunity to elect four candidates to a three-year term. After a three-week-long Call for Candidates, there are 20 candidates for the 2021 election.

An event for community members to know and interact with the candidates is being organized. During the event, the candidates will briefly introduce themselves and then answer questions from community members. The event details are as follows:

I respectfully disagree with the reason given. My edits were made in good faith to highlight unresolved maintenance issues, not for the purpose of edit farming. Adding appropriate maintenance tags to flag verifiability and style problems is a normal part of improving articles (en:WP:MAINT, en:WP:V, en:WP:MOS).

While improving content directly is encouraged, Wikipedia guidelines do not prohibit the use of maintenance tags when significant issues remain. Editors are not required to fix all problems themselves before tagging, particularly when the issues are substantial (en:WP:AGF, >en:WP:5P).

I did not ignore guidance; however, removing tags without addressing the underlying problems does not resolve those issues. I am willing to collaborate on improving the article and to discuss this matter constructively per en:WP:BRD.

Yes did ignore my guidance to not to tag pages with unnecessary templates, as you were tagging MOS templates for single paragraph articles, also if you're taking time to add {{refimprove}}, {{ಉಲ್ಲೇಖ}} , you could have also tried improving articles by adding references & chosen to contributing valuably to Wikipedia, And also I did assume good faith when i initially informed you not to tag articles unnecessarily, but your conduct depicts you are doing it for increasing your edit count and your reasoning above doesn't address to unblocking your account, I decline your unblock request.--A826 · ✉ · © ೧೨:೨೫, ೩೧ ಜನವರಿ ೨೦೨೬ (IST)Reply
