ಕಂಚಗಾರ ಕೊಕ್ಕರೆ (Black-headed ibis).ಇವುಗಳ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಹೆಸರು Threskiornis melanocephalus.
ವಿವರಣೆ[ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ]
ಕಂಚಗಾರ ಕೊಕ್ಕರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆ ಕಪ್ಪು ಇರುವವೂ, ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಕಪ್ಪು ಇರುವವೂ (Pseudibis papillosa) ಇವೆ.

ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಇಡುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವು ಪಕ್ಷಿಧಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೂ, ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ತಂತಿ ಕಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹುಮಹಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಹ ಗೂಡು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದುಂಟು.
