Kunchitigara Sarvajanika Vidyarthi Nilaya (KSV Nilaya) was established in 1932 For free hostel facilty for poor rural backward classes post metric students. it was founded by few philanthapists like sri W H Hanumanthappa And others with pure selfless motive for encouraging Rural backward class students. This selfless mission of the philanthropists has resulted in upliftment of thousands of poor , Rural backward classes students in Engineering, Medicine, PG in basic science like chemistry, physics, mathematics etc and humanity sciences. The Alumini has IAS, IPS, KAS, Internationally known scientists, NRIs etc in the list.

During 2024 The KSV Nilaya has been managed by the president Sri K P Narasimha murthy, The secretary Sri. Hanu boranna, Vice president Sri WP Shivakumar, Treasurer sri.
