Correction of the title[ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ]
It felt to my mind now that ಲಿಪ್ಯಂತರಗೊಂಡ means only transliterated and hence we should move it to ಅನುವಾದಗೊಣ್ಡ (ಅನುವಾದಗೊಂಡ).... I hope somebody will help me with this for now. ಅಭಿರಾಮ ೦೯:೩೪, ೨೮ ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ ೨೦೧೨ (UTC)

Selection of articles for Translation[ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ]
While the body of work which is translated to Kannada is substantial, there don’t seem to be any logic in selecting an article for translation – the selection varies from profound to frivolous. There needs to be a selection criteria based on relevance to Kannada Wikipedia Users and topicality. This approach will help in directing the translation effort to build a credible, relevant and complete set of articles which can add value to Kannada Wikipedia and enhance its image and reputation as a source of quality information. Otherwise, it looks like a machine gun fire in the dark- being fired without any specific target in mind and hence mostly wasted.
The community needs to debate and identify a set of topics which requires to be translated and take up the translation accordingly. Quality of translation is also inconsistent across articles. It may take more time to correct these to ensure minimum readability than doing the translation manually. Narayana (talk)

In fact in this project we are not translating any new articles. This page just lists all the articles created by Google translators. That is, we are just trying to clean up close to 1500 articles created by Google translators some 1 year back. There are many articles in this list that are not much importance to Kannada. As Nayvik said it will be good if we give more preference to the articles in ವಿಕಿಪೀಡಿಯ:ಅಗತ್ಯ ಲೇಖನಗಳು. But just wondering how to manage this from a project perspective. Hope Harish, Shiva, and others involved in this project able to provide their suggestions. - Agree, we had a wonderful IRC session discussing the same. But project's like these will bring the already good articles to lime light attracting more editor base to engage with Kannada wikipedia. Community can definitely debate and come up with articles that are atmost required immediately for Kn:wiki. I guess the current project is just a small step towards this goal. Shiju's eagle's eye has caught such a large set of articles which are huge and worthy having a look under various categories. Definitely. We should take these articles first. Are these articles are from the list we already created? In that case it will be nice if we can get the ID (Sl. Nr.) assigned to that article. help needed[ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ]
i was doing task 5 for avibhaajya sankhye(article id 116), which is translating arabic numerals to kannada numerals... under "<"math">" tag, the numerals on translating gives a 'parse error' which can be observed in line 121 under title 'avibhaajya sankhyegala sankhye' . .. please help me fix this.
