ದೇಶಸ್ಥ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು, ಹಿಂದೂ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಉಪಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ. ಅವು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗ, ತೆಲಂಗಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತರೆ.[೧] ದೇಶಸ್ಥ ಎಂಬ ಪದವು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ದೇಶ (ದೇಶ), ಸ್ಥ (ನಿವಾಸಿ) ನಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥ "ದೇಶಸ್ಥೀಯರು".[೨][೩] ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋದಾವರಿ ನದಿಗಳ ಕಣಿವೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟಗಳ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಖ್ಖನ್ ಪೀಠಭೂಮಿಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ "ದೇಶ" ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ - ದೇಶಸ್ಥ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರ ಮೂಲ ಮನೆ.[೪]
