kannada for all practical reasons is dead (when it comes to the written part) all i see a page full of 'kannada' script which literally uses sanskrt words!(as if kannada is an indo-aryan language) when you do have plain down-to-earth kannada equivalents i don't get why people are bent on using sanskrt substitutes... (is it that you've been using sanskrt equivalents ever since you're born and you don't even know that kannada is a language independant from sanskrt and has it's own vocabulary?)

to hell with all this take a look at the left column ondu mukta puta <-- identify number of sanskrt words! samudaya puta prachalita yaadsa .. ?? ??! sahaaya hogu huduku is fine
